Introduction

The 20-position female connector consists of 6 components: TPA, seal ring, housing, interface seal, rear cover, and CPA (optional). The TPA provides terminal position assurance after terminal insertion into the housing and locks the circumferential seal ring. The seal ring provides sealing protection after male and female connector mating. The housing protects the terminals, secures terminal positions, provides mounting features, and enables keying for error-proofing. The interface seal provides sealing protection between the connector and wires. The rear cover secures and protects the interface seal. The CPA locks the latch on the housing to prevent unintended unmating. This product is available in 4 keying codes: A, B, C, and D. Housings and rear covers of different codes vary in color and structure to prevent mis-mating, and must be assembled according to their corresponding codes. If the insertion force is excessive, verify whether the wrong product has been used to avoid damage caused by forcing a mis-matched connector. If the product is damaged, it must be replaced before proceeding with assembly.
