Introduction

This specification covers the requirements for product performance, test methods, and quality assurance provisions for 1.0mm pitch wire-to-board connectors with locking features. The product design shall conform to the design, construction, and physical dimensions specified in the applicable product drawings, and all materials shall comply with RoHS standards. Contacts are made of high-performance copper alloy, the housing is made of thermoplastic or high-temperature thermoplastic material (UL94V-0), and the mounting pegs are made of copper alloy. Working voltage is less than 36V per pin, AC voltage is 50V per pin, current rating is 1A per pin for AWG #28 wire, and operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C. The applicable wire gauge is AWG #28, and the recommended applicable insulation diameter is per UL 3302 and equivalent standard wire. The product shall meet electrical, mechanical, and environmental performance requirements.
