Introduction

In terms of materials, the component uses 0.25mm thick nickel-silver alloy, the spring is copper alloy, the heat sink is aluminum, the heat sink/light pipe clip is stainless steel, and the light pipe is transparent polycarbonate. Datum and basic dimensions are determined by the customer. Pads and vias connect to chassis ground. This product is compatible with SFP MSA-compliant receivers. The hole pattern repeats at each port, with a port pitch of 14.25mm. Refer to Hole A and Hole B in application specification 114-13120 to determine the recommended drill diameter and plating thickness. Some mating transceivers may require additional PCB thickness, which must be determined by the customer. The product meets the SFP+ ganged cage specification, and measurements are taken across both sides of the cage.
