Introduction

Weidmüller's Basic series consists of unmanaged plug-and-play switches housed in robust IP30-rated aluminum enclosures. These devices offer Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, providing a cost-effective solution for industrial Ethernet port networking. One model is equipped with Fast Ethernet and Power over Ethernet ports. All devices are developed for harsh industrial environment applications and carry international certifications including CE, cULus, Class I Div. 2 / Atex, and DNV/GL, making them suitable for a wide range of international applications. Weidmüller's Value series consists of unmanaged and managed switches housed in high-quality IP30-rated metal enclosures. These devices offer Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet ports. Managed switches in the Value series support a variety of practical management features, such as fast ring redundancy, port-based VLAN, QoS, RMON, bandwidth management, port mirroring, and alerts via email messages or relay outputs. Ring redundancy can be easily configured through the web-based management interface or via DIP switches located on the top panel of the switch. Weidmüller's High-End series consists of advanced managed switches with sophisticated management and security features, making them suitable for the most demanding network solutions. These devices offer Fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet ports. One model is equipped with Fast Ethernet and Power over Ethernet ports. With their advanced ring redundancy technology (recovery time ≤20 ms), these devices enhance the reliability and availability of industrial networks. Optional SFP transceivers provide a high degree of flexibility, and the Gigabit Ethernet models are also suited for networks with high traffic loads.
