Extended springs allow repeated mating cycles from the panel and prevent "fish-hook" damage to the panel during insertion. All Stewart StackJack modular jacks are available with EPP-918A contact treatment to improve contact durability, withstand frequent mating cycles with mating plugs, and provide enhanced protection in harsh environments.
