Introduction

The SLIM FM Cat.6 RJ45 shielded connector features a black plastic frame and is available with various hole types, including CSK holes, standard holes with 2.5mm diameter, and standard holes with 3.2mm diameter. The connector is designed for standard rectangular cutouts, offering multiple hole mounting options with no soldering or crimp termination required. Each connector style uses standard cable with a low rear profile. Performance is influenced by cable quality, length, and cable routing configuration. In terms of materials, the RJ45 straight-through coupler is made of ABS UL94-V0; RJ45 straight-through coupler contacts are phosphor bronze with nickel underplating followed by 3–50 microinches of gold plating; the PCB is FR4; and the frame is polyamide UL94-V2. Performance-wise, it supports T568A and T568B wiring, complies with ISO/IEC 11801 and EN50173 standards, meets ANSI/TIA/EIA 568B.2 standards, is rated at 125VAC RMS 1.5A, and operates over a temperature range of -10°C to +70°C.
