Introduction

The FN9274 IEC inlet filter is designed for Class II medical device compliance. It integrates an EMC filter into a C18 IEC inlet, delivering excellent filtering attenuation in a compact housing. Two load-side connection options are available. The cable version offers touch protection as standard. In the quick-connect version, the pins are embedded in the plastic housing. When used with insulated crimp connectors, the quick-connect version meets Class II requirements. The filter satisfies the two MOPP requirements of IEC 60601-1:2005+A1 for leakage current, insulation, clearance and creepage distances, and ball pressure testing.
