Introduction

The AK3 series high-power transient voltage suppression (TVS) diodes are designed to meet the demanding surge test environments of AC and DC line protection applications. Compared to conventional metal oxide varistor (MOV) solutions, they offer significantly faster response times and lower clamping voltages. These diodes can be connected in series and/or parallel to provide very high surge current protection solutions.
