Introduction

The TPD4E001-Q1 is a low-capacitance TVS diode array designed to provide ESD protection for sensitive electronic components connected in communication lines. Each channel contains a pair of transient voltage suppression diodes that steer ESD pulses to VCC or GND. Per the IEC 61000-4-2 international standard, the TPD4E001-Q1 protects against ESD events with contact discharge voltages up to ±8kV and air-gap discharge voltages up to ±15kV. With per-channel capacitance as low as 1.5pF, the device is well-suited for high-speed data interfaces. Low leakage current (10nA maximum) ensures minimal system power consumption and high accuracy at module interfaces. In addition, the device is suitable for protecting automotive head units, rear-seat entertainment systems, and rear-view camera systems that use USB 2.0, Ethernet, or high-precision analog interfaces.
