The P6KE series is specifically designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients caused by lightning strikes and other transient voltage events.

• Glass passivated chip junction in DO-15 package
• Fast response time: from 0V to V_BR min typically less than 1.0ps
• Excellent clamping capability
• Typical failure mode is short circuit due to voltage or current exceeding specified ratings
• Whisker tested per Table 4a and 4c of JEDEC JESD201A
• IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection: air discharge 30kV, contact discharge 30kV
• EFT protection on data lines per IEC 61000-4-4
• Low incremental surge resistance
• Typical reverse leakage current (I_R) < 1μA when V_BR min > 12V
• Suitable for high-temperature reflow soldering (260°C/30 s)
