Introduction

The DS9801 series is a family of overvoltage and overcurrent protection ICs featuring an integrated MOSFET with a DC on-resistance RDS(ON) of 100mΩ (typical). When the input voltage exceeds the overvoltage threshold, the IC turns off the internal MOSFET to protect downstream devices from high-voltage damage. The IC has a preset overvoltage protection (OVP) threshold of 6.0V (typical). The DS9801 also integrates 3A overcurrent protection. Available in standard SOT-23-6 and SOT-89-3 packages, the DS9801 is well-suited for a wide range of applications.
