Introduction

The nVent ERICO SES320 B-Series Surge Protective Device (SPD) provides cost-effective protection against destructive transients and surge currents. The B-Series is a Type 1 and Type 2 SPD compliant with cUL 1449, installable on the line or load side of a distribution panel without a circuit breaker. The SES320 B offers a per-phase surge rating of 320 kA, making it ideal for Category C locations. Typical applications of the nVent ERICO SES320 B-Series include service entrances, distribution and branch panels, motor control centers, lighting panels, and HVAC systems. The B-Series features a NEMA 4X rating, suitable for outdoor applications as well.
