Introduction

The LSP05GI thermally protected surge protection device is a self-protected device specifically designed for transient overvoltage protection in outdoor and commercial LED luminaires. It is developed using thermally protected varistor technology. Its built-in thermal disconnect function provides additional protection, preventing catastrophic failure and fire hazards even under extreme conditions such as end-of-life varistor degradation or sustained overvoltage. The device features a built-in LED indicator to provide notification when module replacement is required.
