Introduction
Littelfuse's LSP05GI thermally protected surge protective device is a self-protected device specifically designed for outdoor and commercial LED lighting fixtures to provide transient overvoltage protection. It incorporates Littelfuse's thermally protected varistor technology. The built-in thermal disconnect function provides additional protection against catastrophic failure and fire hazards, even under extreme conditions such as end-of-life varistor or sustained overvoltage. The LSP05GI features a built-in LED indicator to provide notification when module replacement is required.
