Introduction

The LSP05GI Thermally Protected Surge Protective Device from Littelfuse is a self-protected device specifically designed for outdoor and commercial LED luminaires to provide transient overvoltage protection. It incorporates Littelfuse's thermally protected varistor technology. The built-in thermal cutoff function provides additional protection against catastrophic failure and fire hazards, even under extreme conditions such as end-of-life varistor degradation or sustained overvoltage. The LSP05GI features an integrated LED indicator that provides notification when module replacement is required.
