Introduction

The Bussmann series single-pole DIN rail UL Listed Open Type 1 surge protective devices feature short-circuit current ratings up to 200 kA. Replaceable surge arrester modules and bases are mechanically coded to ensure incorrect replacement parts cannot be installed. A unique module locking system secures the module to the base and allows for easy tool-free replacement by simply pressing the release button. The module's visual indicator provides at-a-glance protection status: green indicates good, red indicates replacement required. A standard three-terminal remote Type C contact signal relay includes a floating changeover contact that can be used as either a normally closed or normally open contact depending on circuit design. Ratings include 120 Vac single-phase and 240 Vac single-phase system voltage/types with a 200 kA short-circuit current rating. Certifications include UL Listed Open Type 1, ANSI/UL 1449 4th Edition, Guide VZCA, VZCA7; CSA Type 4-1 Component Assembly, C22.2 No. 269.1-14, Category 2157-27; RoHS compliant.
