Introduction

The MACD-14 is a near-differential, ultra-miniature, normally open reed switch with a glass envelope measuring 14.00mm in length and 2.28mm in diameter (0.551 in x 0.090 in), capable of switching 200V DC at 10W.

A surface mount version of this reed switch is also available as the MASM-14. It has a minimum insulation resistance of 10¹⁰ ohms and a contact resistance of less than 100 milliohms. Both reed switches are suitable for applications requiring low hysteresis between operate and release values.
