Introduction

The MASM-14 surface mount dry reed switch is a close differential, ultra-miniature, normally open switch in a 14mm long, 2.28mm diameter glass envelope (0.551 in × 0.090 in), capable of switching 200V DC at 10W. This reed switch is the surface mount version of the MACD-14, with a minimum insulation resistance of 10¹⁰ ohms and contact resistance of less than 100 milliohms. Both reed switches are suited for applications requiring low hysteresis between operate and release values.
