Introduction

The MACD-14 reed switch is a near-differential, ultra-miniature, normally open switch with a glass envelope measuring 14.00mm in length and 2.28mm in diameter (0.551 in x 0.090 in), capable of switching 200V DC at 10W. A surface mount version of this reed switch is also available as the MASM-14. The insulation resistance is 10¹⁰ Ω minimum, with contact resistance less than 100mΩ. Both reed switches are suited for applications requiring low magnetic hysteresis between operate and release values.
