Introduction

The MDSM-4 surface mount reed switch is an ultra-miniature normally open switch with a glass envelope measuring 15.24mm in length and 2.28mm in diameter (0.600" × 0.090"), capable of switching 200V DC at 10W. This reed switch is the surface mount version of the MDCG-4, featuring a minimum insulation resistance of 10¹⁰ Ω and a contact resistance of less than 100 mΩ.
