• Ultra-compact design: Plunger models are approximately 1/10 the size of standard vertical limit switches; lever models approximately 1/6.5 — enabling significant miniaturization suitable for compact machinery or high-precision small machines.
• Easy indicator lamp addition for operation check: Exposed terminal type combined with a cable connector socket with built-in LED (sold separately) can easily convert the unit into an illuminated limit switch, facilitating maintenance such as operation checks.
• Convenient O.T. range indication: Lever models feature an O.T. range indicator for installation and adjustment — the unit should be set so that the indicator projection on the operation display plate is positioned within the shaft receiver projection for optimal operating conditions.
• Terminals available in both solder and quick-connect (#110) types.
• ±0.2mm O.P. accuracy (initial O.P. repeatability ±0.03mm): Through a unique switching mechanism and standard mounting on the flat top surface (no bevel) of the unit, plunger models achieve high O.P. repeatability within 0.03mm. Additionally, the unique mechanism allows O.P. adjustment per unit during assembly, ensuring batch-to-batch O.P. accuracy of ±0.2mm (0.008 in.), virtually eliminating the need to readjust the operating position during installation or replacement.
• Large stroke margin (O.T./T.T.) for ultra-compact limit switches: A coil spring switching mechanism adopted for the QL series increases T.T.
• Long service life: Featuring silver alloy contacts with excellent solvent resistance, dual-hinge wiping action, and a coil spring switching mechanism — mechanical life of at least 10^7 operations, electrical life of at least 3×10^5 operations (5A, 250V AC resistive load).
• Excellent environmental protection: Protection equivalent to IEC IP64; actuator incorporates a shaft seal with special sealing; main housing and terminals feature waterproof ring and epoxy sealing; optional connector socket renders the entire mechanism waterproof. Zinc die-cast body and stainless steel actuator, with a shock absorber added to reduce impact upon plunger release.
