Introduction

The WW series switch mechanism is a non-momentary, double-break shorting bar type structure, available in single-circuit, dual-circuit, or triple-circuit versions. The triple-circuit unit has two poles — "poles" refers to the number of completely independent circuits the switch can carry simultaneously. In the un-actuated state, circuit 2 of the triple-circuit switch is closed while circuits 1 and 3 are open; when the plunger is depressed, circuit 2 opens and circuits 1 and 3 close; when the plunger is released, circuits 1 and 3 open and circuit 2 closes.
