Introduction

When sealed switches (metal-to-metal and glass-to-metal seals) are required for demanding applications, the Honeywell MICRO SWITCH™ HS Series premium large basic switches meet the need. The HS Series is designed with sealing per MIL-PRF-8805 Symbol 5 to satisfy sealing requirements. HS Series switches can control logic level/low-energy applications as well as power load switching, addressing a wide range of application challenges. The compact package measures 1.96 in long × 1.18 in high × 0.67 in wide, making it suitable for space-constrained applications. In addition to the MIL-PRF-8805-compliant HS Series switches, UL- and CSA-recognized HS Series basic switches are also available for a variety of applications.

• Sealing meets MIL-PRF-8805 Symbol 5 requirements
• Package dimensions similar to Honeywell MICRO SWITCH™ premium large basic switches, with 25.4mm (1.00 in.) mounting centers
• Switch mounting holes located outside the sealed switch cavity
• Multiple integrated actuator and auxiliary actuator styles available
• Electrical connections via #6-32 terminal screws or single #18 AWG wire
• Temperature range: -54°C to 121°C (-65°F to 250°F); select catalog items rated to 149°C (300°F)
