Introduction

The RTP series Hall effect rotational position sensors provide non-contact sensing for demanding transportation and industrial applications at a competitive cost. These products use magnetically biased Hall effect ICs to sense rotational movement of an actuator within a set operating range. Rotation of the actuator changes the position of the magnet relative to the IC, and the resulting change in magnetic flux density is converted to a linear output.
