Introduction

The Dragino LHT52 Temperature & Humidity Sensor is a long-range LoRaWAN sensor. It features a built-in temperature and humidity sensor and is equipped with a USB Type-C sensor interface for connecting external sensors, such as an external temperature sensor. The LHT52 measures ambient temperature and humidity, and transmits these values via the long-range wireless LoRaWAN protocol. It is suitable for professional wireless sensor network applications such as food service, smart metering, smart cities, and building automation. The LHT52 is powered by 2 AAA batteries, enabling years of long-term operation. Batteries can be easily replaced by the user when depleted. The LHT52 is fully compatible with the LoRaWAN v1.0.3 protocol and works with standard LoRaWAN gateways. The LHT52 supports a data logging feature to ensure users never miss sensor data. It logs sensor readings for each uplink, which can be retrieved via downlink commands from the LoRaWAN server. The LHT52 supports a temperature alarm function — when the temperature exceeds a preset threshold, it triggers uplink alarms at short intervals.
