Introduction

As electric vehicles (EVs) continue their rapid growth, many OEMs are incorporating cooling systems into their battery pack systems. However, if a lithium-ion battery pack experiences a water leak, it can create a hazardous condition. Thermometrics' water detection sensors detect moisture leaks by monitoring changes in sensor resistance, and send a signal to the BMS to alert the driver.
