Introduction

The Rd-03D_V2 radar module integrates a streamlined 24GHz radar sensor hardware platform with intelligent algorithm firmware. The hardware consists of the AIoT millimeter-wave radar IC ICL1122, a high-performance 1T2R microstrip antenna, an MCU, and peripheral support circuits. The intelligent algorithm firmware employs FMCW waveform modulation and advanced signal processing technology proprietary to the ICL1122. The module accurately senses human presence and area motion states. Its onboard intelligent algorithms enable motion trajectory recognition and tracking, supporting multi-target detection within a designated zone with real-time reporting, speed measurement, and ranging — delivering faster recognition with lower power consumption. This design allows users to rapidly develop target localization and tracking products. The solution is primarily suited for typical indoor environments such as homes, offices, and hotels, enabling localization and tracking of single or multiple individuals. The module supports rapid configuration for various public display installations, intelligently distinguishing between human motion, micro-motion, and stationary states to control device switching. The module offers strong immunity to external interference and is unaffected by wireless signals such as Wi-Fi.
