Introduction

The SY-FLMS2-11BSPT single-channel pyroelectric flame detector is based on the pyroelectric effect of lithium tantalate single crystal, paired with an ultra-low-noise FET and high-resistance gate resistor system to form the detection circuit. It features a TO-5 metal can package containing two independent sensing element chips with built-in thermal compensation. A precision narrow-band optical filter serves as the infrared optical window. Combining three detectors can further eliminate sensor system errors for more accurate detection. This detector is a typical AC-operated device: no signal is output when the target is stationary and temperature is constant; signal output occurs only during transient target movement, temperature changes, or when modulated by a chopper. During handling, use, and storage, rapid temperature changes must be avoided — the detector operates normally only when the rate of temperature change is less than 1°C/min. Soldering should be performed at a position no less than 4 mm from the package body, with soldering time kept as short as possible; use tweezers to clamp the pin roots to assist heat dissipation. The operating environment should be kept clean, and direct contact with the optical filter must be avoided.
