Introduction

Photoconductive cells are sensors capable of detecting light. They are small, inexpensive, low-power, easy to use, and highly durable. NTE's photoresistors (LDRs) are photoelectric resistors whose resistance decreases as incident light intensity increases. In other words, they exhibit high resistance in dark conditions and low resistance in bright conditions.
