Introduction

Piher Sensing Systems' flange-mounted gear tooth speed and direction sensor is designed to accurately measure the speed and direction of ferrous gears in harsh environments, such as vehicle transmissions. The Hall effect sensor measures magnetic flux changes in the air gap between the magnet and passing teeth. Based on its non-contact technology and robust design, the SSH-G01 sensor delivers true long-term reliability.
