Introduction

Magnetic door contacts are used in burglar alarm systems, intrusion detection systems, and access control systems. Magnetic door contacts must utilize Magnasphere BMS magnetic switch technology, require use with end-of-line resistors, and must be compatible with control panel models that accept contact inputs. Switch and magnet housings are constructed of UL 94HB plastic or aluminum, internal switches employ Magnasphere technology (BMS), contacts are fully encapsulated in 94HB-rated material, and leads are solid-color coded.

Features

• Magnetic door contacts using Magnasphere technology offer higher security and durability compared to reed switch-based contacts.
• Contact form: one open-circuit alarm contact (09, 19, 22, 25, 63, 105) or one closed-circuit alarm contact (10, 20, 26, 24, 54, 88, 106), or two or three alarm contacts, open-circuit or closed-circuit, or a combination of open-circuit and closed-circuit (MSS-3XX series).
• Maximum electrical rating: 250mA, 30VDC (resistive), 0.25W, compliant with UL 634.
