Introduction

The BASIC series pressure sensors utilize silicon micromachined (MEMS) pressure sensing elements in the most fundamental configuration. The package employs a ceramic SMT configuration to minimize footprint. Optimal temperature compensation is achieved when the sensor is excited with a constant current source. This series is designed for non-corrosive, non-ionic working fluids such as air and dry gases. Specifications are written for a constant voltage of 3.0 volts. The device output is ratiometric to the supply voltage.
