Introduction

The Model 85 uncompensated vacuum pressure sensor is compact and media-compatible, featuring a piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor packaged in a 316L stainless steel housing. The sensor is available in a solderable package as well as multiple threaded port options, including 1/4 and 1/8 NPT, 1/4 BSP, and other custom process fittings. The Model 85 uncompensated pressure sensor is designed for OEM applications requiring compatibility with corrosive media. The sensing assembly uses silicone oil to transfer pressure from the 316L stainless steel diaphragm to the sensing element.
