Introduction

This is the expansion board version of DFRobot's newly launched BMP388 sensor, designed for pressure and temperature measurement. It supports Arduino code control. Compared to its predecessors, the BMP180 and BMP280, the BMP388 features lower power consumption, a smaller footprint, higher resolution, and a higher sampling rate. Barometric pressure sensors are commonly used to measure air pressure and temperature. Additionally, due to the relationship between altitude and atmospheric pressure, they can also measure altitude and relative floor height. Furthermore, the BMP388 enables precise altitude tracking, making it particularly suitable for drone applications. Based on Bosch's proven piezoresistive pressure sensing technology, the BMP388 offers high EMC, high accuracy, and low power consumption. It delivers an accuracy of ±8Pa, equivalent to an altitude difference of approximately ±0.66m, and a temperature accuracy of ±0.5°C over a temperature range of 0°C to 65°C. Note: This sensor is highly sensitive to the external environment — please avoid touching it with your fingers whenever possible.
