Introduction

The 89BSD is a compact 9mm diameter, media-compatible piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor housed in a 316L stainless steel enclosure. This low-power, 24-bit ΔΣ ADC digital output pressure sensor supports the I²C interface protocol and is designed for threaded O-ring mounting. A custom ASIC provides temperature compensation and offset correction. The sensing package uses silicone oil to transfer pressure from the 316L stainless steel diaphragm to the sensing element. A flexible cable allows the 89BSD to connect to smaller terminals where space is critical. This sensor is designed for high-performance, low-pressure applications.
