Introduction

The Standard Accuracy Silicon Ceramic Series is a piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor that provides a ratiometric analog output for pressure readings over a specified full-scale pressure range and temperature range. The series achieves full calibration and temperature compensation through an onboard ASIC, covering sensor offset, sensitivity, temperature effects, and non-linearity. The pressure-calibrated output value is updated at approximately 1 kHz. The sensor is calibrated over a temperature range of -20°C to 85°C and operates from a single supply of 3.3 VDC or 5.0 VDC. These sensors measure absolute, differential, and gauge pressure. The absolute pressure version features an internal vacuum reference, with output proportional to pressure. The differential pressure version allows pressure to be applied to either side of the sensing diaphragm. The gauge pressure version references atmospheric pressure and provides an output proportional to changes in atmospheric pressure. These pressure sensors are designed for use with non-corrosive, non-ionic gases such as air and other dry gases. An optional configuration extends compatibility to non-corrosive, non-ionic liquids.
