Introduction

The TruStability Standard Accuracy Silicon Ceramic Series is a piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor that provides a ratiometric analog output for reading pressure within a specified full-scale pressure range and temperature range. The series is fully calibrated and temperature compensated, with on-board ASIC compensating for sensor offset, sensitivity, temperature effects, and non-linearity. The pressure-calibrated output is updated at approximately 1 kHz. The series is calibrated over a temperature range of -20°C to 85°C. The sensors operate from a 3.3 Vdc or 5.0 Vdc single supply. These sensors measure differential and gauge pressure. The differential pressure version allows pressure to be applied to either side of the sensing diaphragm. The gauge pressure version references atmospheric pressure and provides an output proportional to changes in atmospheric pressure. SSC Series sensors are suitable for non-corrosive, non-ionic working fluids. They are designed and manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001.
