Introduction

The TruStability® Standard Accuracy Silicon Ceramic Series is a piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor that provides a ratiometric analog or digital output for reading pressure within a specified full-scale pressure range and temperature range. The series is fully calibrated and temperature compensated via an onboard ASIC, covering sensor offset, sensitivity, temperature effects, and non-linearity. The pressure-calibrated output update rate is approximately 1 kHz for analog output and 2 kHz for digital output. The series is calibrated over a temperature range of -20 °C to 85 °C [-4 °F to 185 °F] and characterized to operate from a single supply of 3.3 Vdc or 5.0 Vdc. These sensors can measure absolute, gauge, or differential pressure. The absolute pressure version features an internal vacuum reference, with the output proportional to pressure. The gauge pressure version references atmospheric pressure, providing an output proportional to changes in atmospheric pressure. The differential pressure version allows measurement of the pressure difference between two pressure ports. These sensors are designed for use with non-corrosive, non-ionic gases such as air and other dry gases. An optional configuration extends their performance to non-corrosive, non-ionic liquids for pressure ranges above 40 mbar | 4 kPa | 20 inH2O. All products are designed and manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001.
