Introduction

Superior Sensor Technology's HV Series delivers the industry's highest-performance and most flexible differential low-pressure sensors for HVAC applications. The series covers pressure ranges from as low as 0.1 inH₂O to 60 inH₂O, with 16-bit resolution supported across every range. While competing products experience performance degradation at lower pressure ranges, Superior's HV Series maintains optimal performance across the full span from 60 inH₂O to 0.1 inH₂O when the multi-range feature is enabled. The HV Series incorporates Superior's proprietary NimbleSense™ architecture, creating the industry's first generation of "smart sensors." NimbleSense™ provides an exceptionally high dynamic range, enabling a single device to address the full spectrum of HVAC pressure requirements. For example, a single Superior sensor device with multi-range enabled can replace three to five (or more) competing products, significantly simplifying installation requirements and substantially reducing inventory costs. In addition, the HV Series integrates 50/60Hz notch filters to minimize the impact of power supply noise spikes. The series combines advanced piezoresistive sensing elements with an integrated amplifier, ADC, DSP, and digital interface, greatly simplifying customer integration efforts. Advanced DSP capabilities enable new functionalities that streamline system development while improving manufacturing convenience and reliability. The HV Series features a high-reliability plastic housing that delivers a cost-effective solution optimized for customers' HVAC needs while ensuring high performance and reliability.
