Introduction

The ND medium-pressure series is based on the proprietary NimbleSense™ architecture, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to 85°C. The supported pressure range spans from as low as 15 psia (1.03 Bar) to as high as 150 psia (10.3 Bar), making it ideal for applications requiring measurement of air and gas pressure relative to zero pressure. This series combines advanced piezoresistive sensing elements with integrated amplification, ADC, DSP, and digital interfaces, delivering a new level of integration that significantly simplifies customer integration efforts. Advanced digital processing enables new capabilities that streamline system development, enhance manufacturing convenience, and improve reliability. It features a true 16-bit output capable of measuring dry air and non-corrosive gas pressure with very high accuracy, and excellent non-linearity, typically within 0.1% FS. The series offers accuracy better than 0.10% FS, with total error band also at a leading level, typically better than 0.15% FSS. It includes a selectable bandwidth filter from 1Hz to 200Hz and excellent zero stability, with an integrated 50/60Hz notch filter to minimize the effects of power supply noise spikes. In addition, the medium-pressure ND sensors are protected with silicone gel to shield the sensor from any mechanical or thermal stress during field use. The series features a high-reliability plastic housing, delivering an ideal combination of high performance and high reliability across an extended temperature range, while ensuring customers have a high-yield, cost-effective solution optimized for a wide range of industrial needs.
