Introduction

The Honeywell TruStability TSC Series and NSC Series are pressure sensors utilizing piezoresistive silicon technology that provide an analog output ratiometric to the supply voltage for reading pressure within the specified full-scale pressure and temperature ranges. The TSC Series is temperature-compensated and unamplified; the compensation simplifies sensor integration into systems by eliminating the need for system-level temperature calibration and reducing unit-to-unit performance variation. The compensated temperature range is 0°C to 85°C, the operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C, and the series supports differential or gauge pressure measurements. The NSC Series is uncompensated and unamplified, offering customers the flexibility to perform their own calibration while still benefiting from the industry-leading stability, accuracy, and repeatability of Honeywell TruStability pressure sensors. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C, and the series supports absolute, differential, or gauge pressure measurements. Absolute pressure sensors feature an internal vacuum reference with an output proportional to pressure. Differential pressure types allow measurement of the pressure between two pressure ports. Gauge pressure types use atmospheric pressure as a reference and provide an output proportional to pressure changes relative to atmospheric pressure. The TSC Series and NSC Series sensors are suitable for non-corrosive, non-ionic gases such as air. For sensors with a rated pressure above 60 mbar | 6 kPa | 1 psi, Port 1 is also compatible with non-corrosive, non-ionic liquids. The series offers a variety of package styles and mounting options for easy integration by equipment manufacturers into their applications. These sensors provide infinite resolution on the pressure signal, with frequency response typically limited only by the end-user's system.
