Introduction

KP466 is a high-performance, high-precision miniaturized digital absolute pressure sensor based on capacitive sensing principles. It employs surface micromachining technology and integrates a monolithic signal conditioning circuit. The device converts physical pressure into 10-bit, 12-bit, or 14-bit digital values and transmits the data via SPI interface. In addition, a temperature sensor is integrated on-chip. In response to SPI commands received, 10-bit, 12-bit, or 14-bit temperature data is also transmitted via SPI interface. The device implements a special power-down mode, enabling users to further reduce power consumption. Integrated diagnostics is a special reliability feature that allows testing of the sensor element and signal path. This diagnostic can be triggered via SPI commands.
