Introduction

GP2Y1010AU0F is a dust sensor utilizing an optical sensing system. The device features an IRED and a phototransistor arranged diagonally to detect reflected light from airborne dust particles. It is particularly effective at detecting very fine particles such as cigarette smoke. Additionally, it can distinguish between smoke and indoor dust through the pulse pattern of the output voltage.
