Introduction

SenseCAP is one of the first products launched under Seeed's industrial IoT product line, focusing on wireless environmental sensing applications such as smart agriculture, precision agriculture, and smart cities. It consists of hardware products (sensors, data loggers, gateways, etc.), software services (SenseCAP Mate app, SenseCAP network portal, open dashboard), and APIs for device and data management. SenseCAP industrial sensor probes are designed to withstand harsh environments commonly found in industrial applications, such as vibration and exposure to chemicals and gases. The industrial sensors feature an IP66 to IP68 protection rating to ensure reliable operation in demanding environments. In addition, SenseCAP sensor probes feature process connections for secure installation in the measured medium, along with sensor data transmitters that convert signals for compatibility with industrial instrumentation systems. Some MODBUS RS485 industrial sensors are available in two versions, differentiated by their cable connectors, allowing users to select based on their needs.
