Introduction

TRDU5 is a battery fault detection sensor that measures hydrogen, carbon monoxide, ammonia, pressure, temperature, and humidity levels under various battery leakage conditions. The module must be placed inside the battery enclosure to detect fault modes. The TRDU5 enables the BMS to monitor safe battery operation and provide early warning signals of thermal runaway, giving passengers time to safely exit the vehicle.
