RPM871 is an infrared communication module compliant with IrDA Ver. 1.2 (low power). An infrared LED, PIN photodiode, and LSI are integrated in a single package. The module features a power-down function with low current consumption in standby mode. Its ultra-compact package makes it ideal for mobile devices.
