RPM872 is an infrared communication module for IrDA Ver. 1.2 (low power). An infrared LED, PIN photodiode, and waveform shaping LSI are all integrated in a single package. The module is designed for low power consumption, and its ultra-compact package makes it ideal for mobile devices.
