Introduction

This is an SHT31 temperature and humidity sensor housed in a waterproof enclosure. The sensor is waterproof and can be safely used in outdoor projects. Note that although the sensor is waterproof, submerging it in water is not recommended. For underwater measurements, the DS18B20 sensor is strongly recommended. Leveraging Sensirion's CMOSens® technology, a highly integrated capacitive humidity sensing element, and a bandgap temperature sensing element, the SHT31 offers high reliability, long-term stability, low power consumption, fast response, and strong interference immunity. The sensor supports I2C communication and is compatible with 3.3V/5V controllers such as Arduino, micro:bit, and ESP32. The SHT31 is the standard version of the SHT3x series, with a humidity accuracy of ±2%RH (0%RH~100%RH) and a temperature accuracy of ±0.2°C (0°C~90°C) at 25°C. Although the sensor's temperature measurement range is -40~125°C, it is recommended not to expose the sensor to temperatures above 80°C due to the PE material used in its enclosure.
