Introduction

The humidity sensor module HSM 100 extends the functionality of the STM 33x / STM 330C / STM 33xU / STM 431J temperature sensor modules. The HSM 100 contains an internally calibrated humidity sensor that can be plugged into members of the STM 33x / STM 431J module family via a 20-pin connector. The sensor signal is read through the ADIO3 input of the STM 33x / STM 431J. To enable reading of the sensor signal, the STM 33x / STM 431J must be configured with a humidity-enabled EEP, which can be accomplished using Dolphin Studio.

Features

• Ensure adequate air ventilation within the enclosure; otherwise, measurement results will not represent the ambient humidity.
• Avoid placing any material within a 2mm distance of the 7mm×7mm area shown in the figure below (within the PCB plane and above/below it), as measurements may be affected by capacitive sensor detuning.
