• Store products within the specified "Absolute Maximum Ratings".

• Storing CHS series humidity sensors for extended periods (over 1 year), or in high-temperature/high-humidity environments, or locations subject to sudden temperature changes may degrade the humidity-sensitive film on the sensor element and the solderability of the sensor unit terminals, causing output variation to exceed the guaranteed range.
• Use the CHS series within the specified operating conditions defined under "Absolute Maximum Ratings". For electrical parameters such as input voltage, ensure values remain within the electrical specifications.
• Avoid use in environments with corrosive gases or excessive dust, as these may cause element degradation and output variation beyond the guaranteed range. Consider implementing measures to prevent corrosive gases from entering the sensor unit — for example, using a dedicated jig to seal the unit during soldering, especially when flux decomposition generates gases.
• Avoid use in environments with excessive condensation, water, or saltwater, as these may cause element degradation and output variation beyond the guaranteed range.
• Excessive physical shock to the sensor, such as dropping, must be strictly avoided.
• Avoid applying excessive mechanical stress to the product — for example, during terminal forming — as this may damage the element.
